Course Content
This course is designed for private-sector personnel who have completed
the 500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards
for the Construction Industry and who are active trainers in the
outreach program. It provides an update on OSHA construction standards
and OSHA policies. Topics include record-keeping requirements, OSHA
construction inspection policies and procedures, confined space
hazards and competent person requirements. Participants will receive
a half-day presentation on training techniques. Outreach trainers
are required to attend this course at least once every four years
to maintain their trainer status.

Participants must have completed course 500. Participants must fax
a copy of current 500 completion card with registration. The course
manual will be provided to each participant. Manuals
on CD and the
29 CFR Part 26 may be purchased for an additional fee.
