Asbestos Awareness 2008: no-cost training co-sponsored by MIOSHA and EMU CORR OSHA
Asbestos Awareness is for workers conducting housekeeping, maintenance and custodial activities during which ACM or presumed ACM is contacted but not disturbed; and clean-up activities for dust, waste and debris resulting from asbestos abatement or operations and maintenance activities. CET(Consultation, Education and Training)
EMU CORR has received 9 CET grants since 1995. The grants focus on supporting small-to-medium sized Michigan-based businesses in health and safety education and training.
